Assist with BACKSTAGE team - work with all performing leaders to make sure the schedule is upheld and everyone is aware of where they need to be, will also need to address any last minute issues regarding the show
Assist with ORCHESTRA - ensures orchestra members are well prepared for the performance.
Assist with DANCE team - to ensure performers are well-prepared for the performance, works with Backstage Manager day-of show
Assist with ACTING team - work with actors to go over lines and on-stage blocking, organizes proper blocking per the script and helps actors to better convey the script through helpful input, works with Backstage Manager day-of show
Assist with MAKEUP & COSTUMING - sources costumes within budget, creates at-home makeup instructions for performers to follow, ensures all performer's costume and makeup are within specifications day-of show, works with Backstage Manager day-of show
Assist with AUDIENCE EXPERIENCE - works with Set Staging Lead for any lobby/sanctuary design, overlooks ushers and security team day-of show, assist with brochure design
Assist with SET STAGING - be part of a team of set-builders to create the set design, plans the logistics of set transitioning during the performance, leads a set transitioning team day-of show, works with Backstage Manager day-of show
Assist with AV - works with performance directors tolay out AV program for sound and lighting for the performance
Assist with CHILDREN'S CHOIR - conveying key information regarding the musical to parents
Interested in being the TEAM LEAD for one of the categories listed above
Will you be able to commit to rehearsals: Fridays 6:00 - 7:30PM and Sundays 1:00 - 3:00 PM starting October 27th? *NOTE* - This only applies to performance volunteers such as Acting, Orchestra, and Dance teams.
